Troubleshooting
If you perceive any abnormality while using the device, verify the following points before arranging to repair.
Symptom Possible causes and solutions
The device will automatically switch off approx. 6 or 10 minutes after the treatment started.
The battery level is low. Charge the battery (page 9).
The battery has expired. Consult the Global After Service (https://www.ya-man.co.jp/en/support/repair/) or your local distributor.
The device has run out of power. Charge the battery (page 9).
Lower the level. Be sure to use Level 1 on the first use.
The device has been pressed against the same area of skin for too long. Be sure to keep the roller moving over the skin during operation.
At low temperature, the power may switch off immediately. Use the device while charging it.
The device does not turn on
The device shuts off
The device only operates
for a few minutes even after charging
Insert the included AC adapter into the main unit (page 9). Check to make sure the cable is not loose.
Connect the included AC adapter to a wall socket (page 9).
The device does not start charging.
The radio frequency (RF) feels too hot
Additional Information
Move the device a little quicker.
Press and hold the Power button ( ) for about one second.
The device is in standby or Auto-off status (page 8).
Press the Power button ( ) to turn the power on (Standby function).
If the device is not operated within five minutes of going into Standby function, it will switch off automatically (Auto Power-off).
If the device is left at low temperature for a long time, it may turn itself off. After leaving it at the recommended ambient temperature of between 10 ° C
and 40 ° C for a while, check the charging status and press again the Power button ( ) and keep it pressed for about one second.
