  If your Yard Force Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, consider the following: * The diameter of the garden hose might be too small. Replace it with a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose. * The water supply could be restricted. Check the garden hose for kinks, leaks, and blockages. * There might not be enough water supply. Fully open the water source. * The water inlet filter could be clogged. Remove the filter and rinse it in warm water. * The power nozzle might be in the low-pressure position. Replace it with the desired high-pressure tip. * The pump might be sucking air. Check that hoses and fittings are airtight. Turn off the machine, and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle.

  If your Yard Force Pressure Washer motor isn't running when it's turned on, fully connected, and the trigger is depressed, several factors could be the cause: * The On/Off switch may be in the “OFF” (O) position. Turn the switch to the “ON” ( I ) position. * The power cord might not be plugged in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. * The extension cord could be too long, not the proper gauge, or damaged. Replace the extension cord with either a 25’ (7.6 m) 14/3 gauge cord or a 50’ (15 m) 14/3 gauge cord. * The electrical outlet may not supply adequate power. Try a different outlet. * The pressure washer thermal protector might be tripped. Allow the unit to cool, and then restart it.
