1. STARTING AND STOPPING
STARTING (SEE FIG. G)
Depress the safety button rst, pull the switch lever toward the handle, and the mower will
start.
STOPPING
Release the switch lever to stop the mower.
2. ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
CAUTION: Do not touch rotating blades.
For the rst cutting of the season, a high cutting adjustment should be selected. The
lawnmower can be set to 7 cutting heights between 1 1/2–4" (3.8–10.2 cm).
1) To increase the cutting height pull the cutting height adjusting lever outward towards the
wheel, and move it up a notch, towards the rear of the lawn mower (See Fig. H1).
2) To decrease the cutting height pull the cutting height adjustment lever outward towards the
wheel, and move it down a notch, towards the front wheel of the lawn mower (See Fig. H2).
After adjustment, ensure the lever is fully located in the selected notch.
WARNING! The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after
the machine is switched off. Allow the motor/blade to stop rotating
before switching “on” again. Do not rapidly switch off and on.
WARNING! Stop, release switch lever and wait until the motor
stops before adjusting height. The blades continue to rotate after
the machine is switched off; a rotating blade can cause injury. Do
not touch rotating blades.

WARNING: The battery pack will be too cold to be used if it has been
left in the environment with too low temperature (less than -20 degrees
Celsius) for a long time. The battery pack needs to be warmed up
before use.
