8 Basic Specifications
8.1 Specifications of Both DC/AC TIG Welder
CAUTION
The welder is incorporated with a high DC voltage generator. Take sufficient consideration so
that the whole system will not malfunction because of this high DC voltage generator. If there is
any possibility of malfunctioning, take proper countermeasures.
Failure to observe this caution may result in electric shock.
The following table shows the welder specifications.

*1. Use the selector switch at the rear face to change input voltage.
Rated input voltage is set to 200 V at factory setting, and 220 V is also available. When
the welder is used at 220 V, set the selector switch at the rear face to 220 V.
*2. Eyebolts are excluded.
Note: 1. Input power supply voltage must be within ±10% of rated input voltage.
Humidity must be up to 50% and 90% at temperature 40 and 20, respectively.
2. For EN (positive polarity) start by the high DC voltage start method and assurance of
the start performance, DC current flows for approx. 220 ms, being fixed to approx. 70
A and 30 A at AC welding and DC welding, respectively.
