Overview

This document describes the installation and maintenance of Modular Non-Variable Speed Air Handlers (MA Models). These versatile units are designed for use in various applications, including upflow, downflow, and horizontal configurations, and can be integrated with cooling, heat pump, or electric heat systems.

Function Description:

The MA series air handlers circulate air within a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. They are designed to work with evaporator coils, electric heat kits, and outdoor units to provide heating and cooling for residential and light commercial spaces. The control board manages the operation of the blower motor, heat relays, and external accessories like humidifiers and electronic air cleaners based on thermostat inputs and system conditions.
