Safety and Bike Care Instructions
To maintain your e-bike effectively, follow these guidelines:
• Clean the frame with a damp cloth dipped in a mild, non-abrasive, and non-corrosive detergent solution. After usage in coastal regions or in environments with
salty air or water, treat all unpainted parts with an anti-rust solution.
• Never submerge the bike or its components in water to avoid damaging the electrical system. If the hub and bottom bracket bearings have been submerged,
they must be removed and re-greased to prevent rapid bearing wear.
• Regularly inspect wiring and connectors for damage and ensure all connections are secure.
• Store your bicycle under a shelter to minimize prolonged exposure to cold or adverse weather conditions. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly and apply anti-rust
treatment to the chain and any other unpainted steel components.
• Routinely clean and lubricate all moving parts. Make sure to tighten and adjust components as needed.
• The cables, spokes, and chain will stretch after an initial usage of 80 - 160 km. Also, bolted connections may loosen over time and use. Therefore, we recommend
consulting a certified bicycle mechanic every two months to ensure your bike remains safe and in excellent condition for years to come.
• If the paint is scratched or the metal chipped, apply touch-up paint to prevent rust. Clear nail polish can also be used as a temporary protective measure.
• Note that damage due to corrosion is not covered under warranty. It is crucial to take special care to protect and prolong the life of your bike.
