HEAD RESISTOR
NOTE: Depending on the model you have, this menu item may
not be available.
Setting the Head Resistor Value: Press the (–) key to move to
the next digit position, press the (+) key to increase the value of
the digit.
CAUTION: This parameter should only be changed by qualified
personnel!
Initial Value: Factory-set to match the printhead shipped with
your printer.
Default Value: 0500
Range: 0500 to 1175
This value has been pre-set at the factory to match the resistance
value of the printhead. It does not need to be changed unless the
printhead is replaced.
CAUTION: DO NOT set the value higher than that shown on the
printhead. Setting a higher value may damage the
printhead!
Before replacing a printhead, look on the bottom of the printhead
element for the label that shows the resistance value (ohm value).
