Removing the Top Cover from Lower
Housing
1. Press the latch release button and
open the Media Cover.
2. Use a T6 TORX driver to remove
the two (2) M2x6 screws on top of
the Top Cover.
3. Turn the printer over and use a T8
TORX driver to remove the two (2)
M2.5x10 screws on the bottom front
of the printer.
4. Lift and remove the Top Cover from
the lower housing.
The operator must wear a properly grounded ESD strap to perform the following
repair procedure.
Tools Required
• T6 (2.5 +/- 1 in. lb.) & T8 TORX (4.7 +/- 1 in. lb.) Drivers
Cautions
Unless otherwise specied:
• Always turn the printer off
• Remove the battery before installing any Replacement Kits.
• Remove media before installing this Replacement Kit
