Removing the Gear Plate Assembly
1. Remove the Printer Frame
Assembly from the Lower Housing as
described on Pages 2-17 & 2-18.
2. Locate the Gear Plate Assembly on
the left side of the Printer Frame.
3. Use a T8 TORX driver to remove
the two (2) M2.5x6 screws (circled)
that secure the Gear Plate to the
Printer Frame. The top screw also
disconnects the ground strap.
4. Remove the Gear Plate Assembly
from the printer frame (as shown).
5. Remove the Idler Gear (yellow
arrow) and two (2) Compound Gears
(red arrows) from their respective
posts on the inside of the Gear Plate.
