Why is my Zodiac Alpha 63 iQ Bio not climbing the walls?
    • J
      Joshua HigginsAug 5, 2025
If your Zodiac Swimming Pool Vacuum is not climbing the pool sides as it once did, observe the cleaner for about 20 minutes to see if it has stopped climbing the walls, because the cleaner does not systematically climb the walls in Bottom/Walls/Waterline mode and the frequency varies during the cycle. Also, clean the filter with fresh water, as it may be full or clogged. If the filter is blocked, clean it with an acid solution (spirit vinegar, for example). Replace the filter if necessary. Another possible cause is worn tires, which should be replaced. Finally, microscopic algae in the pool water can also prevent climbing; in this case, carry out shock chlorination and slightly reduce the pH, remembering to remove the appliance from the water during shock treatment.

      Austin ThomasAug 9, 2025
If your Zodiac Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't staying firmly on the pool bottom, it might be due to air in the appliance's casing; repeat the immersion operations. Also, the filter may be full or clogged; clean it with fresh water, or with an acid solution like spirit vinegar if blocked, and replace if necessary. Another reason may be a damaged propeller.
