Remove the microSD Card
Before removing your phone’s microSD card, use the Storage settings menu to unseat the card.
1. Touch > > Settings > Storage > Unmount external SD card to prepare the
phone for card removal.
2. Insert the end of a small paper clip or other eject tool into the hole on the microSD card
tray.
3. Remove the microSD card tray and then gently take the microSD card out of the tray.
4. Push the microSD card tray back into the tray slot.
Note: You can easily damage the microSD card by improper operation. Please be careful when
inserting, removing, or handling the microSD card.
Note: Make sure your battery is fully charged before using the microSD card. Your data may
become damaged or unusable if the battery runs out while using the microSD card.
View the microSD Card Memory
The Storage settings menu gives you access to your microSD card memory information.
■ With the microSD card inserted, touch > > Settings > Storage. (The total and
available memory space will be displayed in the EXTERNAL SD CARD STORAGE
section.)
Format the microSD Card
Formatting a microSD card permanently removes all files stored on the card.
1. Touch > > Settings > Storage.
2. Scroll down the screen, touch Erase external SD card > Erase external SD card >
Erase everything.
