àMakesurethattheservicedatahasalreadybeenbackedup.
àMakesurethatthenewswitchingandcontrolcardisintact.
àBecarefultoavoidanyshortcircuitcausedbymetalobjects,includingmisplace
oftoolsorscrewsdroppedintotheshelf.
àAligntheswitchingandcontrolcardtotheguiderailandcarefullypushitinalong
therailtoconnectaccuratelywiththebackplane.

àBackupthecurrentcongurationdata.

àConrmwhetherthenewswitchingandcontrolcardisthesameastheoriginal
oneintype.
àRecordthecablepositions,andcheckwhetherthelabelsonthecablesare
correct,clearandtidy.Ifthelabelsarenotvisible,makeanewlabeltoprevent
anymistakeonconnectingcables.
