2.VerifythattheEthernetserviceisoperatingproperly.Fordetailedinformation,referto
"2.4EthernetServiceFaults".
3.VerifythattheVLANIDparameterandtheBandwidthparameteraresetcorrectly.
4.Verifythattheequipment'sIPaddressissetcorrectly.
lIftheequipmentisworkinginthelayer-2switchingmode,verifythatallIP
addressessatisfyingthelayer-2switchingprotocolareinthesamesubnetwork.
lIftheequipmentisworkinginthelayer-3routingmode,verifythattheOpen
ShortestPathFirst(OSPF)congurationiscorrect,andverifythatthefollowing
casesdonotexist:
àTherearenetworkmanagementroutesmissed.
àNetworkmanagementservicesaredisconnectedduetotheequipment's
crossingnetworksegments.
Userscanaddroutesfortheequipmentinaccordancewiththeactualcondition.
5.VerifythatthetransmissionchannelbetweentheequipmentandtheNetwork
ManagementServer(NMS)isnormal.
2.5.2NEsAreOutofControl
Performthefollowingtroubleshootingsteps:
1.VerifythattheEthernetcablesareconnectedproperly.
2.PingtheEMSserverfromtheNEsrespectively.VerifythattheIPcongurationsofthe
NEsarethesamewiththedesign.
3.ChecktheMACaddressesoftheNEsandverifythattheNEsareconguredwith
differentMACaddress.
