IntheSpanningTreeProtocol(STP)globalcongurationwindow(operationpath:ETH>
XSTP>GlobalConguration),ifForceVersionofadeviceissettoMSTPorRSTPand
thedeviceisconnectedtoanSTPdevice,theconnectedportwillautomaticallymigrateto
theSTPmode.
WhenthedeviceonwhichSTPisoperatingisremoved,theportcannotautomatically
migratetotheMSTP/RSTPmode.Inthiscase,userscanperformtheM_Checkoperation
toforcedlymaketheportmigratetoMultipleSpanningTreeProtocol(MSTP)modeor
RapidSpanningTreeProtocol(RSTP)mode.
