RecommendedOperations
Thissectionliststherecommendedoperationsthatcanremove
thealarms.
1.Thegeneralanalysismethodsforthealarmsareasfollows.
i.Readthealarmmessage,informationdescriptioncarefully
andrefertotherelatedcontentinthismanual.
ii.Checkwhetherthenetworkconnectionisnormalusingnet-
workcommandssuchasping,telnet,netstat,ipcong/if-
cong,route,trace/tracertandsoon.
iii.Viewtherelateddatacongurationdirectlytocheck
whetherthereiserror,missedorunreasonablecongura-
tions.
iv.Formoredifcultproblems,analysethemwiththenet-
workprotocolanalysissoftware"sniffer".
v.Forpossiblehardwaremalfunction,replacethishardware
withthesameavailablehardwaretohelpthemanagerto
determinewhetherthemalfunctionisfromthesoftwareor
thehardware.
2.Thegeneraldisposalmethodsforthealarmsareasfollows.
i.Forhardwareordevicemalfunction,contactwithZTEser-
vicestafftoreplaceit.Formalfunctionssuchas"hardware
dissatisfactory",addthehardwareorreplacethelowca-
pacityparts.
ii.Forsoftwareorthesystemmalfunctions,upgradeordown-
gradethesoftwareversion.Backupthecongurationbe-
foreversionupgrading.
iii.Foralarmscausedbytheenvironment,pleasecheckand
resolvetheproblemsintimeaccordingtoalarmfailureand
alarmmessage.Avoideorreducethedirectorphysical
damageforthedevicecausedbytheenvironment.
iv.Forsystemsetupandcongurationproblems,checkwhere
themalfunctionisandmodifytheconguration.For
alarmscausedbyerrorinputcommands,pleaseviewthe
onlinecommand"help"orrefertorelatedmanualand
executeitafterinputtingthiscommandagain.
v.Foralarmscausedbytheotherend,informtheotherend
ofthedisplayedalarmmessageandassistinresolvingthis
problem.Andthencheckandinformtheotherendwhether
thisalarmisremoved.
