ZXSDR BS8800 is a forward-looking product of ZTE CDMA BSS
series. It adopts SDR platform and has the capability of mak- ing
smooth evolution to a future LTE network.
ZXSDR BS8800 is an indoor macro BTS. It consists of two parts:
baseband part (BBU) and RF part (RSU). For the conve- nience
of maintenance, ZXSDR BS8800 separates the two parts in
system architecture, with them interconnected via optical fiber.
Figure 9 shows the ZXSDR BS8800 system architecture.

A
RCHITECTURE
In ZXSDR BS8800 , BBU takes charge of the processing of
baseband part while RSU the RF part. Their
functions
are described
as follows:
CC is the main control module of BBU and even of ZXSDR
BS8800 . It completes the conversion of GPS system
clock, the output of RF reference clock, the termination of Abis
