Tape Not Flipping Up
1. Clean grooved surface of
cutter mount (H), Figure 3,
with solvent.
2. If tape still does not flip up,
sand grooved surface lightly
with a very fine sandpaper.
3. If tape still does not flip up,
replace cutter mount with new
part.

Tape Not Sticking to
Bottom of Product
Refer to Figure 6
1. Loosen four screws (L) and
adjust frame to accomplish the
following:
a. Buffing roller (M) must be
1/64 inch to 1/32 inch
above the case cover.
b. Sealer arm and roller (N)
must be aligned with the
cover slot with no
interference.
c. Hammer must cut the next
length of tape before roller
(N) pivots below case
cover.
Adjustments
(Note correct position of all parts
before disassembly to ensure
proper reassembly.)
Tape Not Cutting
Refer to Figure 2
1. Loosen set screw (A) with 3/32
inch hex wrench provided and
adjust spring post (B) out to
increase hammer tension.
2. If tape still does not cut,
remove cotter pin (C) and
rotate hammer (D) 180° on the
hammer arm (E).  Insert cotter
pin (C).
3. If tape still does not cut, rotate
knife blocks (F) shown in
Figure 3 as follows:
a. Remove screw (G) and nut
using 1/16 hex wrench
provided (wrench flats are
also provided on the screw.
b. Remove cutter mount (H)
and rotate each knife block
(F) 180°.  Reassemble
cutter mount, screw and
nut.
c. The two remaining edges
may be used by rotating
each knife block 180° on its
screw axis and following
step "b" above.
Tape Alignment
1. Adjust tape drum (J) as shown
in Figure 4 to center tape on
cutter mount.

Tape Curling Under
Applying Roller
1. Increase tape tension by
tightening adjustment nut (K)
shown in Figure 5.
Tape Breaking
1. Decrease tape tension by
loosening adjustment nut (K)
shown in Figure 5.
Sealer Arm Not Returning
Refer to Figures 7 and 8
1. Remove locknut (P).
2. Hold idler stud (Q).  Remove
washer (R), rotate washer
180° and replace on the idler
stud shaft.
3. Rotate the idler stud (Q)
clockwise 60° to engage
washer peg in next frame slot.
4. Replace locknut.
