Description
The S-63 Manual Box Sealer is designed to
seal containers with an "L" shaped clip of tape
of equal leg lengths. The tape application is
made quickly and easily with one pass of the
container across the box sealer top. The S-63
can be operated from the top of or recessed into
the packing counter. It is also recommended for
conveyor mounting.
Specifications
Tape: Most "Scotch" brand pressure-sensitive
cellophane, acetate fibre or film tapes.
Tape Width: 1/4 inch [6 mm] minimum to
5/8 inch [15 mm] maximum.
Tape Roll Diameter: Up to 5-1/2 inch [140 mm]
diameter on a 3 inch [76.2 mm] core.
Tape Lengths Dispensed:
It applies a 1-1/2 inch [38 mm] lg. "L" shaped
clip of tape with equal length legs.
Overall Dimensions: 10-1/2 inch [267 mm] lg. x
7 inch [178 mm] high x 5-1/4 inch [134 mm] wide
Weight: 10-3/4 lbs. [5 kg] unpackaged;
11-3/4 lbs. [5.5 kg] packaged.
Tape Loading/Threading
1. Press tape roll against drum flange and thread
tape as shown in Figure 1.
2. Adhere end of tape to cutter mount grooved
surface.
3. The tape drum is positioned for 1/2 inch wide
tape. Refer to tape alignment adjustment for
other tape widths.
