Product Safety and Usage

WARNING

Misuse may result in sickness or death. Consult supervisor and instructions for correct use.

Use For

Particles from minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, etc. Also for oil-based particles without harmful vapors.

Do Not Use For

Not for gases, asbestos, sandblasting, or concentrations exceeding limits. Not for organic vapors.

Biological Particles

Reduces exposure to airborne biological particles but cannot eliminate infection risk.

Use Instructions

Follow all instructions for effectiveness. Implement a written respiratory protection program.

Use Limitations

Not for oxygen-deficient atmospheres. Do not use when concentrations exceed limits.

Storage and Fitting

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life

Store in original packaging away from contaminants and extreme conditions. Use by specified date.

Time Use Limitation

Replace if damaged, soiled, or breathing is difficult. Oil aerosols may limit use to 8 hours.

Fitting Instructions

Cup respirator, position chin, pull straps. Mold nosepiece with two hands. Perform seal check.

Removal Instructions

Follow fitting instructions step 2, pull bottom strap, then top strap to remove.

NIOSH approved: R95

At least 95% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols, including oils.

Cautions and Limitations

Covers oxygen levels, immediate danger, maximum concentrations, proper use, and maintenance.
