DO NOT:
“The particle and gas lters cannot be cleaned. Do not attempt to remove
contamination using for example compressed air as this will destroy the
lters, the equipment will not give the expected protection and the warranty
will be invalidated.”
Clean the Ado lters. This is the most common mistake made by Ado users, and can put your health (and back
pocket) at risk. See the warning from the Ado instruction manual below:

Ado lters are built specically to capture welding fume. High pressure compressed air can create holes in the
lter that, although not always visible to the naked eye, could compromise its level of protection. For example: holes
in the pre-lter and particle lter allow harmful particles to pass through to your airways.
Holes in the lter also create an opportunity for larger particles to enter the Ado motor. This motor, if inltrated,
could sustain damage that would not be covered under warranty.
So it’s much more cost eective to simply replace your lters rather than try to clean them.
