c. To reinstall a new protection plate, hook the tabs into their slots on the welding helmet (Fig. 8).

d. To reinstall the protection front cover, place it over the protection plate and snap it into place at all four
corners using rm, downward and outward pressure from your thumb or index nger (Fig. 9).

4. Welding Filter:
a. Remove the welding lter by sliding the locking mechanisms on the side up to the unlock position.
Then, lift on the bottom of the welding lter and carefully slide it out of the welding helmet (Fig. 10).
