DUPLICATION
Coinmech duplication (only for RM5)
It allows to get either from a sample coinmech or from a PC, all the
parameters indentifying a given coinmech inlcuded the coin setting
parameters, in order to use them afterwards for the following
configurations of the other coin mechanism.
The copied so obtained will be under any point of view identical to
the master one. The read copied parameters are:
• Coin channels setting
•
Channels enabling
• Substitutive channels
• Values table
• Prices table
• Configuration
Enter into configuration by pressing OK, then with +/- you can
choose what is to be copied. This choice spectrum is reported
hereunder.
COPY ALL (it copies everything as per above reported list)
COPY ADJUSTMENT (it copies coin channels setting +
enabling channels + re address channel)
COPY PRICE (it copies the values data sheet + prices data
sheet)
COPY CONFIGURATION (it copies the configuration)
Confirm by pressing OK and then, by pressing keys +/-, you can
choose the data source. The spectrum is reported hereunder.
1 Miniprogrammer
2 Coin mechanism (sample coin mech)
3 PC (through the RS232 dedicated interface)
Confirm with key OK. At this stage the programmer asks if you want to carry on. Press
OK again to go on.
Should you choose 1 (Miniprogrammer) you get the copy right away and the operation
is over in 30 secs. Should you choose 2 (Coinmech) the data from the connected
coinmech will be read and then it will ask to connect the coinmech to be copied. After
that puss key OK and wait for the end of the copy. Should you choose 3 (PC), you will
be required to connect the PC through the dedicated adapter.
Launch the file CLONA5
on the PC.Click on the button “file reading” and choose that one to be downloaded.
Then proceed and activate the cloning buttons on the PC. Press OK to confirm the
connection between PC and programmer, it will proceed to the reading of the data and
the end it will ask to connect the coinmech to be copied. Then pressed OK.
Should you write more than a coinmech, after the end of the first copy, press OK and
then again OK to the request “PROGRAMM OTHER RM5?”. With the second
confirm it will proceed directly to the copy of the data previously choosen. During the
copy should overlappings occurs between the master and the coinmech to be copied,
they will be duly reported. You have to confirm OK to the request “MAKE THE
COPY?” if you want to proceed anyhow to the copy of the data.
The unrequested overlappings will have to be corrected afterwards with the re-setting
or through the selective disenabling of the channels themselves.
NOTE:
1) Programmer Memory
Every time you execute the total or partial duplication of the data, using as source
either a sample coinmech or a PC, the acquired data are copied in the programmer
memory too. When you want to use it as source file, please make sure that the data had
already been downloaded through either a previous duplication or by mean of a
download
2) Setting channel 60 as reference channel
The “normalization” uses the data stored in the channel 60 as reference channel.
Should them result not correct, you will be required to proceed and make a new
setting. It is compelling to reply positively, otherwise the copy procedure will be
aborted. The programmer will ask 5 times to insert the reference golden token and then
for other 5 times the silver one. At the end it will be communicated the end of the
procedure with the writing “Reference Programmed ” and it will ask if is actually
request to proceed to the copy. In this case press OK to confirm.

OVERLAPPING
Research of channel overlapping
This function allows to the research of eventual overlapping among
the coin channel. In case of positive research it will be shown the
message indicating of the first two overlapping. Then enter into the
function pressing OK. Each time OK will be pressed the following
two overlapping channels will be shown. Should none overlapping
be evinced, then the message “NO OVERLAPPING” will be shown.
The not required overlapping will have to be corrected either with
the re setting of the indicated channels (see section 21) or with the
selective inhibition of the just quoted channels (see section 18)

MINIPROGRAMMER UPGRADE
Thank to this function it is possible to achieve the upgrade of the
firmware of the programmer through.
It is active in the programmer but it implies a dedicated software for
PC developed by Comestero Group, available only upon request.
The detailed instructions, both PC side and Programmer side are
part of the package.
