11.2.2 User accounts
Edge Gateway web server user account
Owner user in the Edge Gateway Web Server can add users with email ID as user unique ID and a
random password is generated for new user with meeting password complexity rule.
When new user login with the allotted user ID and default password, he is prompted to change his
password during 1st time login to web server.
Additionally, Edge Gateway web server support Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
11.2.3 SSH (Secure Shell) Access - only for developer & maintenance role
In ABB Ability
TM
Edge Industrial Gateway, SSH (Secure Shell) is NOT available for customer and is
disabled. This is available only to internal ABB Developers & Maintenance Role users for debugging
purpose.
