If CMT data points are updating from Application Configuration in your ABB Control Unit, it may be because when some AFLs are added to the ACT logic, the related data points are again synchronized to the Communication Management tool although the data are already in the selected list. Verify the DNP3 mapping if a new AFL has been added to the ACT logic as some signals may have disappeared.
