7 - Operation
Once the meter model is selected, additional requested
elds will appear:
- METER PHASE: If the METER is three-phase, the
phase to which the inverter is connected must be
selected. (This eld will appear only if you select
the ABB B23 3PH meter model)
- ENERGY POLICY: set the way in which you want
to manage the energy produced by the PV plant,
choosing from the following:

Self
consumption
The system automatically mana-
ges power ows in order to maxi-
mise self-consumption. All unused
power from domestic loads will
feed into the grid.
Zero injection
The system automatically mana-
ges power ows in order to avoid
the injection of energy to the grid.
If the meter is disconnected or not
working the inverter's output po-
wer is restricted to zero in order to
avoid accidental power feeding to
the grid.
Congurable
The system automatically mana-
ges power ows in order to avoid
feeding the grid with power greater
than:

is the power of the pho-
tovoltaic generator (“PV GENE-
RATOR POWER” parameter) and

is the output power limit with
respect to P

(%) (“FEED-IN PO-
WER” parameter).
- PV GENERATOR POWER: Insert the power value
of the photovoltaic system (kWp) installed.
- FEED-IN POWER: Set the percentage AC po-
wer restriction (with reference to the value of the
photovoltaic system (kWp) installed) to be feed into
the grid. This eld can be edited only if the Energy
Policy selected is “Congurable”.
Conrm the settings by clicking “END” and the inverter will
test the meter working (if selected a meter device) and it
will reboot at the nish of test phase.
