14. Quality of the products and environmental
protection
The apparatus is manufactured in accordance with the requirements established by the international
standards concerning quality management and environmental management systems. The level of excellence
in these fields is testified by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates available.
End of life of the products
ABB undertakes to comply with the environmental protection requirements laid down by law, in accordance
with the provisions established by the ISO 14001 standards.
ABB provides skills and assistance to facilitate the recycling and disposal process for products at the end of
their life. Compliance with the local regulations when disposing of products is always mandatory.
Disposal methods
The products can be disposed of by means of heat treatments, in incineration systems or by storage in
dedicated areas.
