Follow the guidelines below when selecting your alarm settings for detection of high and low glucose
conditions. When the detection rate is maximum, you will get the greatest number of alarms. When
the detection rate is minimum, you will get the fewest number of alarms.
About Glucose Alarms (con’t)
Caution: Do NOT rely solely on the projected glucose alarms for detection of low or high glucose conditions.
Always use both the low glucose and high glucose threshold alarms AND the projected low and projected
high glucose alarms for maximum notication of low or high glucose conditions.
