Why Perform Control Tests
Performing a control test lets you know that the meter and test strips are working
properly to give reliable results. You should perform a control test when:
You open a new box of test strips•
You left the test strip container open•
You want to check the meter and test strips•
Your test strips were stored in extreme temperature and/or humidity•
You dropped the meter•
Your test result does not agree with how you feel•
You want to check if you are testing correctly•
