The home screen is where you will start each time you turn your Chromebook on
The Shelf - the bar at the bottom of the screen - helps you to navigate and open apps:
● The launcher is where you will find all of your apps and files - tap and then use the
search bar to find them
● You’ll find useful apps such as the web browser and email - pinned to the shelf for
easy access. Tap or click on one of them to open the app.
● The status area tells you about the Internet connection, battery level and time. Tap
or click on it to find more useful settings.
