Can I connect to a VPN session at my work place using this modem?
Yes, your VPN settings for connection would have to be correct, and you would
have to be connected to log in. Contact your system administrator for any set-
tings information you may need to set this up.
Can I send and receive faxes with this modem?
Yes, you should be able to if your fax software is configured correctly. Your fax
machine would also need to be connected to the phone line port on the Modem.
Can my wireless signal pass through floors, walls, and glass?
The effect of the physical environment can have varying effects on signal
strength and quality. The denser an object (a concrete wall compared to a plaster
wall, for example), the greater the interference will be. Concrete or metal-rein-
forced structures cause a higher degree of wireless signal loss than those made of
wood, plaster, or glass.
I plugged in the Modem to an available USB post but no “Found New
Hardware Wizard” came up. What should I do?
The USB ports on the computer may be disabled in device manager or in the
bios. If this is the case contact your computer manufacturer to help you activate
your USB ports.
Everything installed fine and the modem was working until I shutdown and
restarted my machine. Now the computer is not detecting the adapter.
What should I do?
Some USB Host Controllers have a timing issue at boot up. If this happens, try
unplugging and then replugging (while the computer is already booted up) the
Modem and it should start working again.
