17. Initialize the TPMS
If the Low Tire Pressure/TPMS indicator stays on with the ignition turned to ON, do this to initialize the system:
17.1. Start the engine, then turn it off.
17.2. Wait 25 seconds.
17.3. Repeat steps 17.1 and 17.2 three times.
17.4. Check the TPMS message on the driver information interface; the tire pressure readings should be normal. If they
are abnormally high, check for DTCs with the i-HDS.
18. Check the Engine Oil Level on the Dry Sump Lubrication System
This vehicle comes with a dry sump engine lubrication system that takes a special procedure to check the engine oil
level. To ensure an accurate reading, a certain engine temperature range and idling time must be met. To do this, follow
these steps:
18.1. Open the trunk, and carefully remove the right side engine cover.
18.2. Start the engine, then select SPORT+ by turning the Dynamic Mode selector in the center console twice to
the right.
18.3. Make sure the fuel tank is at least ¼ full, then park the vehicle outside, and close both doors.
