Beforestartingthebatteryreplacementprocedure:

• calltheADTCustomerCareDepartmentat1‐800‐ADT‐ASAPtohaveyour
securitysystemplaced“ontest” 
• readtheBatterySafetyWarningsectiononthepreviouspage,and
• becomefamiliarwiththebatteryreplacementinstructions.
Controlpanel
Thecontrolpanelbatteryislocatedinsideacontrolpanelboxsimilartothe
oneshowninthepicturebelow.Thecontrolpanelboxistypicallylocated
insideacloset,basementorutilityroominyourhome.


Backupbattery
sizes
The backup battery could be of one of two sizes, either a 4 Ah or a 7 Ah
size.Thepi cturebelowshowsthetwobatterysizesandthelocationofthe
wireterminals.


