3.7 Inverting the Relay Output
If desired the relay output can be inverted so that the Normally Open output termi-
nal becomes the Normally Closed terminal and vice-verse. To invert the output the
follow command is sent to the system:
Normally Closed sets the Normally Open output to Normally Closed
Normally Open sets the Normally Open output to Normally Open
Whilst this is useful to change the operation remotely the system will draw an addi-
tional 35mA at 12VDC. Also when the power is disconnected the relay will revert to
it’s un-energised Normally Open state.
3.8 Input A Relay Control
Input A can be used to The activate the # relay as per a telephone call from a user.
This is achieved by sending the Latch or Exit commands:
Latch enable allows the relay to be activated by input A
Exit enable allows the relay to be activated by input A
Latch disable disables input A relay control
Exit disable disables input A relay control
