If your AEG Cordless Telephone doesn't have a dialling tone when you press the key, there might be a few reasons: * The connection cord of the base station might not be plugged in. Check all connections, unplug and plug the mains back in, and ensure the telephone line cord is plugged into both the base station and the phone socket. * The adapter cord may not be correctly plugged into the base station. Check both the base station plug and the 230V plug by removing and plugging them back in. * The line could be busy because another handset is in use. Wait until the line is free. * You might be using the wrong telephone line cord. Ensure you're using the original telephone line cord that was supplied with the phone.
