9. OPERATING LIMITS
9.1. COOLING MODE
9.2. HEATING MODE
9.3. CONDENSER UNIT OPERATION
The devices in their standard
configurations are not suitable for
installation in salty environments. The
maximum and minimum limits for the
water flow rate to the exchanger
are indicated by the curves of the
pressure drop diagrams.
For the operating limits, refer to the
diagrams below, valid for t = 5°C.
N.B.:
The unit can be activated with
external air at 46°C and inlet water at
35°C in the summer function.
The unit can be activated with
external air at -15°C and inlet water
at 20°C in the winter function.
Under these conditions the unit
function is possible only for a short
time in order to bring the system up
to right temperature.
To reduce the time of this operation
a three-way valve allowing to by-
pass the water from the supply to
the system should be fitted, until
the conditions enabling the unit
to operate within the permitted
operating limits are reached.
