Initial Inspection
If There Is a Problem
If the shipping materials are damaged or the contents of the container are incomplete:
• Contact the nearest Agilent Technologies office to arrange for repair or replacement. See “Contacting
Agilent Technologies” on page 81. You will not need to wait for a claim settlement.
• Keep the shipping materials for the carrier’s inspection.
• If you must return an analyzer to Agilent Technologies, use the original (or comparable) shipping
materials (see “Returning an Analyzer for Service” on page 82).
NOTE If you purchased one or more optional measurement personalities, the related guides for the options you
ordered are included.
Service documentation is not included in the standard documentation set. See “Options” on page 67 for
information on ordering.
