8 Test Functions and Calibrations
System Pressure Test
System Pressure Test
For running a System Pressure Test, please refer to the corresponding pump
manual. The System Pressure Test may be used for testing the tightness of a
valve installed in the MCT.
CAUTI ON
Wrong use of System Pressure Test may damage components.
Do not use higher test max. pressure settings as the lowest rated pressure
component in the tests flow path.

Use appropriate blank nuts to plug ports on the column selection valves:
• Blank Nut SL (5067-6127) for standard ports on stainless steel valves,
• M4 Blank nut (5067-6141) for M4 ports on stainless steel valves,
• Blank nut long 10-32, PEEK with stainless steel core (5043-0277) for bio-inert
and bio valves.
