2. Check that there are no objects between
the device and the remote control which can
weaken the remote control signal. Remem-
ber also to point the remote control directly
towards the device. When coding there may
be maximum one meter between the device
and the remote control.
3. Check that the device to be operated has an
infrared signal receiver. If this is not the case,
the remote control cannot be used.
4. Check that the remote control batteries are
correctly placed in the remote control.
Check also whether the batteries are flat
and replace them if necessary (never mix old
and new batteries, always use batteries of
the same type and always remove the bat-
teries from the remote control if it is not
to be used for a longer period of time).
Note: It can be necessary to reprogram the
remote control when you have changed the
batteries.

Disposal
This electronic device should be disposed of in
an environmentally correct way. You should,
therefore, dispose of the device in accordance
with the existing local rules. In most cases it
