”On/Off” button until the activated device is
turned off. Then switch the device on again
and check whether the other buttons on the
remote control can operate the corresponding
functions on the device, (if your device f.ex. is
a CD-player you can check whether the ”Play”
button activates the CD-player’s play function,
whether the ”Fast Forward” button winds the
CD forward etc.). This search demands a good
deal of patience as it can take up to 100 tries
before the remote control finds the correct
code number for your device.
5. Automaticl On/Off code search:
Hold the ”On/Off” button down for more than
3 seconds. The status indicator will now start
to flash. Now release the ”On/Off” button
and the remote control will automatically send
one code number at a time. When the remote
control finds the correct code number the
activated device will turn off. Now press any
button to complete the automatic code search.
When the remote control has found the correct
code, store the code number. This is done by
pressing the device button that corresponds
to the device that the remote control is to
operate (f.ex. DVD, CD/LD, TV1 etc.), and then
releasing it. The code number is now stored in
the remote control.
Troubleshooting
If you have problems programming or using
the remote control, check the following:
1. When you program the remote control you
must carry out the above programming in-
struction carefully. If the first code stated in
the code list does not work, try all of the
code list codes which apply to your device.
This must be done in the same order as
shown in the code list (f.ex. 043, 053, 109
etc.)
