Theboxed12VDC3ApowersupplyunitprovidedwiththeMaxpageTerminalkitincludesa12V3Ah
rechargeablebattery.Thisbatterywillmaintainnormaloperationforseveralhoursintheeventofamains
powerfailure.













TherechargeablebatteryshouldberemovedandtestedbyaServiceEngineeronanannualbasisand
replacedevery5years.
Withthebatterydisconnected;checkthechargevoltageacrossthebatteryleadsisbetween13.6VDCand
14.2VDC(13.8Vnominal).
Ifthebatteryshowsany
signsofdamage,swellingorleakageduringanannualinspectionitshouldbe
replacedimmediately.

