What to do if the Aircare MA0800 displays alternating “CF” and room humidity?
    • K
      Kenneth MahoneyAug 15, 2025
If your Aircare Humidifier is displaying an alternating “CF” message and the room humidity, it means the wicking filter may be dirty. Replace the wicking filter. You can also unplug the unit for 30 seconds and then plug it back in to clear the display.

Why is my Aircare MA0800 Humidifier fan running continuously?
    • A
      aschneiderAug 21, 2025
Your Aircare Humidifier fan might be running continuously because the set humidity level is at 65%, or the room humidity level hasn't reached 1% or more above the set humidity level. Setting the humidity to 65% will cause the fan to run continuously. Adjust the set level to between 25% and 60%. Alternatively, allow the humidifier to run until the desired humidity is achieved; this may take up to 48 hours initially.

How to fix poor evaporation of water in my Aircare MA0800 Humidifier?
    • H
      huntclaudiaAug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing poor water evaporation with your Aircare Humidifier, and the CHECK FILTER (CF) message is flashing, it's likely due to mineral buildup on the wicking filter. Change to a fresh, new wicking filter. Note that local water conditions can affect how quickly minerals build up in the filter.

What to do if my Aircare MA0800 bottle continues to empty after complete filling?
    • D
      Daniel FullerAug 27, 2025
If the bottle on your Aircare Humidifier continues to empty after you've filled it completely, it indicates that air is entering the water bottle. Check the water bottle for any leaks. Also, make sure the fill valve position is turned to closed and that the valve is free of any debris that might be interfering with its seal.

Why is the bottle not emptying on my Aircare MA0800 Humidifier?
    • H
      heidigomezAug 31, 2025
If the bottle on your Aircare Humidifier isn't emptying, it could be due to a damaged spring valve assembly or a missing post in the bottom of the base, or the base is already full of water. Check the position of the bottle to ensure that the fill valve on the bottom of the bottle is depressed by the post in the bottom of the base. The base will hold the contents of the water bottle (1.2 gallons). Continue to run the humidifier to deplete water from the base.

What to do if my Aircare Humidifier fan is not operating but the digital display is illuminated?
    • C
      Christine CampbellSep 2, 2025
If the fan on your Aircare Humidifier isn't working but the display is on, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The room humidity level might not be 3% or more below the set humidity level, or the reservoir could be empty. Try raising the set humidity level or increasing the fan speed. Also, make sure to fill the humidifier with water.

    • J
      Justin GrahamSep 6, 2025
If the digital display on your Aircare Humidifier is not illuminated, it could be due to a lack of power or the power button has not been pressed. Check the 120-volt power source. Press the power button once to turn the unit on.

What to do if the “CF” message does not appear on my Aircare MA0800 Humidifier?
    • L
      Laura WilliamsSep 12, 2025
If the “CF” message does not appear on your Aircare Humidifier, even when the filter is dirty or humidifier performance is clearly reduced, it could be that a loss of power or a power failure has caused the CF message to prematurely reset. Replace the wicking filter.
