How to troubleshoot an Airwell GC 9 DCI Air Conditioner when the indoor fan doesn't start?
    • M
      miguelolsonAug 27, 2025
If the louvers are open and the green LED is lit, but the indoor fan on your Airwell Air Conditioner isn't starting, it could be due to a couple of reasons. If the unit is in heat mode, the coil may not be warm yet, try changing to cool mode to check. Alternatively, there might be a problem with the PCB or capacitor. Change to high speed and verify the power supply to the motor is higher than 130VAC (for triack controlled motor) or higher than 220VAC for fixed speed motors, if OK replace capacitor, if not OK replace controller.

Why is my Airwell Air Conditioner working in the wrong mode?
    • J
      Jeffrey BrownSep 4, 2025
If your Airwell Air Conditioner is working in the wrong mode (cooling instead of heating, or vice versa), it could be due to electronics or a power connection issue to the RV. Check the RV power connections. If they are OK, check the RV operation with a direct 230VAC power supply. If it's still not working, replace the outdoor controller.
