Using the display
You can check information about the CD
using the display.

Checking the information of
an audio CD
To check the total track number
and playing time of the CD
Press x until “00” appears in the display,
then press DISPLAY/ENTER.
To check the remaining time
Press DISPLAY/ENTER repeatedly while
playing a CD. The display changes as
follows:
The current track number and the
playing time
r
The current track number and the
remaining time of the current track
r
The remaining time on the CD
Total playing time
Total track number

Checking the information of a
CD with MP3 files
To check the total folder number
and total track number on the
CD
Press x until “00” appears in the display,
then press DISPLAY/ENTER.
To check the file information
Press DISPLAY/ENTER repeatedly while
playing an MP3 file. The display changes as
follows:
Playing time
r
The folder number and the track number
of the current track
r
The ID3 tag information: the title name /
the artist name / the album name*
* If the file does not have ID3 tag
information, “no TITLE”, “no ARTIST”
or “no ALBUM” appears in the display.
If the file does not contain the above
information, “no ID3” appears.
To display the folder names and
file name
Press DISPLAY/ENTER twice after
selecting a folder or a file with
TUNE•FOLDER +, – or ., > in stop
mode.
