MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT
1. TAPE PATH COARSE ADJUSTMENT
1-1. Adjustment Points 1-2-4. Also check that the tape does not cur! at the
(A)Impedance Roller “@) Impedance Roller” during review.
(B) Supply Guide Roller 1-2-5. Check that the tape does not curl between
(©Take-Up Guide Roller the “(C) TakeUp Guide Roller” and “()
(D)Tape Guide : Tape Guide”. If it does curl, perform 3. ACE
HEAD ADJUSTMENT.
1 -—2. Checking Procedure
1-2-1. Load a blank tape and play it back.
1-2-2. Check that the tape dose not curl at guides

* Perform play and stop several times to
check. (See Figure-1)
1~2-—3. Check that the tape runs smoothly so its
bottom edge is parallel with the drum lead.
