SOURCE SELECTOR
AM: For AM broadcast reception.
FM MONO: For listening to FM stereo broadcasts in
monaural. Left and right channels are mixed
and emitted from both left and right
speakers. (When FM broadcast signals are
too weak for stereo separation, MONO
position facilitates better audibility.)
FM AUTO: Will automatically receive any FM broad-
casts in stereo or monaural.
PHONO: For turntable connected to PHONO Jacks
AUX: For ceramic or crystal type cartridge record
player, recorder, or other external source
connected to the AUX Jacks.
MODE SWITCH
STEREO:
MONAURAL:
Set to out position.
Depress to in position. When set to this
position, monaural sound is emitted
from both left and right speakers.
LOUDNESS SWITCH
When listening at a low volume level, the range audible
by the human ear is limited. The loudness circuit supple-
ments this range by boosting the bass and treble response.
Depress for balanced sound at low volume.
BALANCE CONTROL
For left and right speaker balance. Turning clockwise
reduces the volume of the left channel and turning
counterclockwise reduces the volume of the right chan-
nel. Output of left and right channel is equal when set
to O position.
VOLUME CONTROL
For volume adjustment. Turning clockwise increases
volume.
AM FERRITE BAR ANTENNA
Pull out from rear panel for AM reception. If signals
are not received with sufficient clarity, use an outdoor
antenna and connect to the AM antenna terminal.
AM and FM ANTENNA TERMINALS (See Antenna
Information and Connections)
GROUND TERMINAL
For use with 75 ohm FM outdoor antenna and a record
player connected to the receiver. Connect a thick cable
from this terminal to a deeply buried underground bar.
Do not connect to a gas line, etc.

AM: Régler sur cette position pour la réception
des émissions en AM.
FM MONO: Régler sur cette position pour l'écoute
des émissions stéréo FM en mono. Les
canaux de gauche et de droite sont mélangés
et émis à la fois à partir des haut-parleurs
de gauche et de droite. (La position MONO
facilite une meilleure audition lorsque les
signaux de diffusion FM sont trop faibles
pour une séparation en stéréo.)
FM AUTO: Cette position permet la réception de toute
émission FM en stéréo ou en mono.
Cette position correspond au tourne-disques
connecté aux jacks de PHONO.
AUX: Cette position sert au tourne-disques à
cartouche type cristal ou céramique, au
magnétophone, ou autre source externe
connectée aux jacks AUX.
PHONO:
COMMUTATEUR DE MODE
STEREO: Le commutateur est désactivé sur cette
position.
MONAURAL: Appuyer pour activer le commutateur.
Dans cette position, le son en mono est
émis à la fois des haut-parleurs de gauche
