PVR and Time Shift Operation (Cont.)
Time shift recording and playback (DTV mode only)
IMPORTANT!
Before recording (including time shift recording), you must insert a FAT32
formatted USB storage device into the USB port.
Setup Time Shift Recording
If you don’t want to miss any programs when temporally leaving, while the TV is
playing a digital program, press button on the remote control to enter TIME SHIFT
mode.
Press button again when you are back to display the tool bar.
Press / button to select play in the tool bar and press Ok button to watch the
program in TIME SHIFT mode.
To stop TIME SHIFT, press button on the remote control to call out a dialog box.
Select “Yes” to exit TIME SHIFT mode and select No to dismiss the dialog box.

When watching a digital program:
1. If you don’t want to miss any programs when temporally leaving, press button on remote
control to enter TIME SHIFT mode.
2.
Press button again when you’re back to display the tool bar.
3.
Press ◄/► button to select Play in the tool bar and press OK button to watch the program in
TIME SHIFT mode.

To stop TIME SHIFT, press on remote control to call out a dialog box. Select “Yes” to exit TIME
SHIFT mode and select No to dismiss the dialog box.
Important notes
1. We strongly recommend you back up all data in USB storage device to avoid losing
any data in case of an unexpected device failure or accident.
2. Do not turn the TV off during recording, otherwise it will lead to recording failure or
malfunction.
3. If the signal is interrupted or removed while recording, the recording will stop until
the signal is established. This may cause you to lose program content.
4. When you are in PVR recording mode, you may experience some difficulty with a
scheduled recording at different times if you have not removed the USB recording
device. You will need to remove the USB device as it has to reset after each recording to
protect the device from damage. You may also see the message [DISK NOT READY]
being displayed. In such a case, remove the device, reconnect and then proceed the
recording.
