Set the SOURCE DIRECT button.
For better sound playback, depress the button to ON.

3 Start playback of the selected source.
4 Adjust the playback volume with the VOLUME control.
@ Turn on all the components.
When the amplifiers power is turned on, the protection cir-
cuit will be engaged, preventing sound output for a few sec-
onds.

SOURCE DIRECT Button
This button is used to help improve sound quality by selecting
the shortest circuit route the playback signal will have to travel
through the amplifier. When ON, the indicator will light.
Set to ON =: The tone and balance control circuits are by-
passed.
Set to OFF m: The playback signal is routed through the
tone and balance control circuits.
