e Switch on the power to all the components.
PLAYBACK DECK RECORDING DECK
Place the recorded tape on the GX-77 to be
used for playback.
2 Load a blank tape on the deck to be used for
recording.
3 PERE
Set the other deck to recording standby. If a
4 3 head deck is used for recording, set it’s Moni-
tor switch to Source.
’ Set the GX-77 to playback.
Set the GX-77's OUTPUT control to maximum. [By

Wind the playback tape back to the beginning 7
of the selection.

Put the GX-77 into playback mode.
See respective instructions for pausing.
Adjust the other deck’s recording level.
* Watch the deck’s level meters to check that
0 dB is not exceeded.
Take the deck out of recording standby into
recording.
* Monitor simultaneously if the deck of a
3-head type. (Please refer to the deck’s
operator’s manual for details.)
