Dropout Please clean the recording, playback heads

Oo Partialerasure..... Please clean the erase heads.
o Unstable taperun. . .Please clean the loading roller, pinch roller,
guide roller, capstan, tension arms and tape
guides.
It js particularly important that the parts which come in contact with
the tape, like the recording, playback and erase heads, capstan, tension
arms, tape guides and loading roller be cleaned for auto reverse record-
ing using sensing tape.
Method
Please
clean
with
cotton
swab
sticks
dipped
in
the
cleaning
fluid.
See
picture.
The
pinch
and
guide
rollers
are
easily
cleaned
with
a
cloth
wrung
out
in
cleaning
fluid.

Please
use
a
cleaning
fluid
suitable
for
rubber
for
the
pinch
and
guide
rollers.
*
Do
not
use
chemicals
such
as
chlorothane,
etc.
for
head
block
clean-
ing.
Demagnetizing (Turn off the Power Switch.)
Please
use
Akai’s
demagnetizing
kit
AH-15,
AH-20,
sold
separately.
