In order to operate SHOWVIEW recording, each TV station is
assigned a SHOWVIEW guide channel number. For example,
TVE 1 may be assigned to guide channel 1. If you have alist of
the guide channel numbers, in your TV magazine etc., you can
programme the remote control in advance and step 4 on the
previous page can be omitted.
The example below supposes that you have set the VCR to re-
ceive TVE 1 on PS channel 1 and that the SHOWVIEW guide
number is 1.

Press the remote control’s CLOCK/CH key twice.
The guide channel setting display will appear.
Enter the SHOWVIEW guide channel number (1 =
TVE 1 etc.) with the 1-0 buttons.
To enter a single digit number press 0,0 and then the
number. To enter 1, press 0,0 and then 1 (001) etc..
Using the example mentioned above, enter 01 with
the 1-0 buttons.
Now SHOWVIEW guide channel 1 (TVE 1)= preset
channel 1 (PS1) on your VCR.
Press the OK button.
To continue memorizing guide channels, repeat steps 2
to 4.
If“FULL” appears in the display it means that the mem-
ory is full.
Tocontinue setting the guide channel numbers, search
for an unwanted programme with the REVIEW button,
press the (xt) CANCEL button and the data will be
erased, then continue with steps 2 - 4.
Press the CLOCK/CH buiton to return to the normal
mode.
Note:
© Ifyou ever change the preset TV channels on the VCR, you
must reset the remote control's PS number: Repeat the
above instructions, but in step 2 press the REVIEW button
to go to the original PS number, then continue with steps
3-5.
